01 The service

Metrics is a personal tracking application that lets you record numeric measurements and repeatable events, then view them over time. The service is provided for personal informational use. It is not medical, financial, legal, or other professional advice.

02 Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to consent to online services in your country. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your sign-in credentials secure, and for activity that occurs through your account.

Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may refuse or remove accounts that violate these terms or create risk for the service or other people.

03 Your content

You retain ownership of the information you enter into Metrics. You give Metrics only the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, and display that information so the service can work for you.

You are responsible for your content and for making sure you have the right to store it. Metrics is not intended to be the only copy of information that you cannot afford to lose.

04 Acceptable use

You may not use Metrics to:

05 Privacy and third-party services

The Privacy Policy explains how Metrics processes information. The service relies on third parties including Supabase, Netlify, and Google. Their own terms and policies may also apply when you use their services, such as choosing Google sign-in.

06 Availability and changes

We aim to keep Metrics reliable, but the service may occasionally be unavailable or change. Features may be added, changed, or removed. We may suspend the service for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons.

07 Ending your use

You may stop using Metrics at any time. You can permanently delete your account, metrics, and entries from Account by choosing Delete account. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these terms, if required by law, or if continued access creates a security risk.

08 Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Metrics is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose. You are responsible for how you interpret and use information shown by the service.

09 Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Metrics and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, or opportunities arising from your use of the service. Any total liability will be limited to the amount you paid for Metrics during the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so they may not apply to you.

10 Applicable law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory rights or consumer protections that cannot legally be waived in your country.

11 Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice through the service or another appropriate method. Continuing to use Metrics after the updated terms take effect means you accept them.

For questions about these terms, email [email protected].
